With our extensive knowledge of thermal processes, including proper heating and cooling rates, CMI EFCO designs produce the best quality strip at the exit of the Anneal and Pickle Furnace. CMI EFCO can supply the ancillary equipment and technology for either hot rolled or cold rolled material, or both in a combination on an A&P line. CMI EFCO is also the premier provider of Coil Tunnel annealing furnaces as well as continuous Annealing/Pickling, Duplex Annealing, Decarburizing, Drying and Flattening lines. CMI EFCO equipment is designed for ultimate flexibility and includes proprietary designs which maximize output capacity for a variety of incoming strip conditions.

Our product line doesn't stop at ferrous strip processing equipment. In fact, we can build furnaces to treat everything from Aluminum to Zirconium in virtually any form available. We also produce a full line of atmosphere equipment including generators, ammonia dissociators, refrigerator dehydrators, dryers, desulfurizers, CO2 removal units and hydrogen-producing plants for producing, mixing and purifying special atmospheres. Turner Machine Company, of Salem, Ohio manufactures pipe and tube straightening equipment as part of our complete roller hearth tube annealing furnace lines.

From initial planning through setup and operation in the field, we take a custom approach to all projects. We don't believe in off-the-shelf solutions. We custom-engineer each furnace we manufacture to meet the customer's needs. In addition, the complete process, from initial concept development and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to final assembly and testing, is all done at our headquarters in Salem, Ohio.
